TO AMEND THE ANTI-BULLYING POLICY; TO REQUIRE A SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER TO RECEIVE INFORMATION REGARDING SCHOOL SAFETY AND STUDENT DISCIPLINE; AND TO REQUIRE A BULLYING AND CYBERBULLYING PREVENTION PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.
TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO ESTABLISH IN THE STANDARDS FOR ACCREDITATION THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS THAT A TEACHER IN GRADES FIVE THROUGH TWELVE (5-12) IS PERMITTED TO TEACH PER SCHOOL DAY.

TO REQUIRE THAT NEW INMATES RECEIVE READING ASSESSMENTS AND DYSLEXIA SCREENINGS; TO REQUIRE READING AND DYSLEXIA SERVICES; AND TO REQUIRE CORRECTIONS TEACHERS KNOW BEST PRACTICES OF SCIENCE-BASED READING INSTRUCTION.

CONCERNING A PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT THAT IS CLASSIFIED AS BEING IN NEED OF LEVEL 5 - INTENSIVE SUPPORT; AND TO ALLOW THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO GRANT EXTENSIONS OF ITS ASSUMPTION OF AUTHORITY IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS.
TO AMEND ARKANSAS LAW CONCERNING AUDITS OF SCHOOLS.
TO CREATE THE GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION RESIDENCY EXPANSION BOARD; TO REQUIRE THE BOARD TO DISTRIBUTE PLANNING GRANTS TO CERTAIN ENTITIES IN ORDER TO EXPAND FIRST-YEAR RESIDENCY PROGRAMS AND POSITIONS.
TO PROHIBIT THE REQUIREMENT THAT A STUDENT PARTICIPATING IN AN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY, INTERSCHOLASTIC ACTIVITY, OR ORGANIZED PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PAY FOR INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP INSTRUCTION.
TO ONLY PERMIT SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS TO DISCIPLINE STUDENTS OR ACT IN THE CAPACITY OF A POLICE OFFICER WHEN STUDENTS OR SCHOOL EMPLOYEES ARE AT RISK OF HARM.

TO REQUIRE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS TO REPORT CERTAIN INFORMATION REGARDING THE NUMBER AND PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS WHO HAVE EXEMPTIONS FROM OR HAVE NOT PROVIDED PROOF OF REQUIRED VACCINATIONS.
TO ALLOW AN AUTHORIZER TO TRANSFER AND ASSIGN A PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL'S CHARTER UNDER THE ARKANSAS QUALITY CHARTER SCHOOLS ACT OF 2013.
TO INCLUDE CERTAIN ARKANSAS CIVIL RIGHTS LEADERS AND HEROES IN THE TEACHING MATERIALS REGARDING AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL.
